Clinically informed massage with a holistic heart
Jing Method Massage Therapist in Southeast Hampshire
As a Jing Method™ Advanced Clinical Massage and Sports Therapist, I aim to bring people back home into their bodies and a place of comfort and ease. Using the combination of informed manual therapy, mindful movement, and education around the interplay of our bodies, minds, and nervous systems, I hope to empower the people I work with to take control of their health and well-being.
I understand that pain is multi-faceted and believe wholly in using the biopsychosocial approach to unravel the puzzle of your pain. I intend to get to the root causes of any pathology so that the results we obtain together in our clinical massage treatments have longevity beyond what we do on the massage table.
What is the Jing Method™ in Advanced Clinical Massage?
The Jing Method™ of Advanced Clinical Massage is a unique outcome-based system for treating acute and chronic musculoskeletal pain and myofascial restrictions. This highly effective therapeutic approach is based on years of research by internationally renowned bodyworkers into the most effective forms of manual therapy available, creating a fusion of advanced soft tissue and massage techniques.
Effective with most types of chronic musculoskeletal pain including; back pain, sciatica, neck pain, whiplash, migraines, frozen shoulder, sports injuries, knee pain, and ligament and tendon issues. As well as systemic conditions like fibromyalgia, myofascial pain syndrome, rheumatoid arthritis, IBS and plantar fasciitis. The Jing Method™ is a partnership between patient and practitioner where a treatment plan of around six sessions is designed to increase your mobility, agility, and joint range of motion (ROM), whilst focusing on decreasing your daily pain and improving your mental wellbeing.
Education plays a key role in The Jing Method™ with treatments centred around the patient being given tools to understand their pathology and to take ownership of their healing.
The Jing Method™ blends the best of advanced bodywork techniques from both East and West including trigger point, fascial work, acupressure and stretching with a truly holistic approach based on the biopsychosocial model of pain and modern neuroscience.
